We offer multiple packages for mosquito control. The basic elements are detailed below:
Basic Control
We note any mosquito breeding sites and communicate them with you.
We then use an insecticide to kill adult mosquitos and biting flies in areas where they commonly rest.
The insecticide has a residual effect of about 3 weeks and will continue to kill mosquitoes as they come in contact with it.
Barrier Control
We follow the 'Basic Control' adulticide program to kill mosquitos and biting flies around your yard.
We also apply a "barrier control" product around the perimeter of your yard and house to repel mosquitos for up to 4 weeks.
Premium Control
The premium control package includes all services from the basic and barrier control programs.
We also apply a growth regulator along with the adulticide in order to control mosquitos in the larval stages.
Premium Control offers every product we have at our disposal to combat mosquitos in the most comprehensive way we can.
The first step in controlling mosquitoes is to eliminate any breeding areas on your property. After these have been eliminated we will use a backpack mist blower to target areas where mosquitoes are commonly found, such as trees, bushes, and shrubs.
The type of control depends on which package you purchase, but general methods are detailed below:
Adulticide: kills adult mosquitos on contact and sticks to foliage to kill mosquitos as they come in contact with it.
Barrier Control: a very concentrated mosquito repellent that is applied to the perimeter of your yard and house to create a barrier. It has a residual effect of up to 4 weeks, depending on rain and weather conditions.
Growth Regulator: insect growth regulators are a type of 'insect birth control' that allow us to disrupt the natural breeding cycle of mosquitos to control the population.
Our mosquito control services last between 3-4 weeks on average, depending on how often it rains, or how much direct sun your property gets. Each of our mosquito control packages include applications every 3 weeks during the warmer months for a total of 6 applications.
Our mosquito control services are performed by trained and certified exterminators who follow regulations and safety protocols to ensure your family and pets stay protected. After we spray your yard for mosquitoes, the product needs to completely dry before you go outside. Depending on temperatures and humidity, we recommend waiting 30 minutes before enjoying your yard.
